MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur, June 27 (PIA) -- Elected candidates of the recently held May 13 midterm elections in the province will have a mass oath-taking on July 4.
The oath taking will be led by incumbent Governor Mamintal A. Adiong Jr., said Provincial Chief of Staff Sheila Ganda.
Ganda said newly elected officials of the 39 municipalities in the province will also participate in the oath taking.
Judge Wenida Papandayan of the Regional Trial Court Branch 8 will officiate the oath taking to be held at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium, this city.
July 4 is also the 54th founding anniversary celebration of the province.
Other activities lined-up for the one-day celebration include free eye check up, medical consultation, and distribution of free medicines to constituents.
