MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur, Oct. 1 (PIA) --- The provincial government of Lanao del Sur joined the celebration of the 114th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA)
Provincial government employees gathered on September 28 at the capitol grounds to kick-off a weeklong festivity for provincial government servants.
A parade, short program and sports fest highlighted the opening ceremony of the festivity.
“The PCSA celebration seeks to promote heroism in public service and highlight stories of triumphs and trials among government employees.” said CSC City Field Office Director Maribel Alejo during the opening ceremony.
With the theme “Tapat na Serbisyo Alay ko, Dahil Lingkod Bayani Ako,” the celebration aims not only to showcase and celebrate heroism in public service but also to encourage and inspire government employees in their journey as servant-heroes or lingkod-bayani.
Alejo said for 114 years civil servants remains as the backbone of the government.
She thus encouraged officials and the employees of the provincial government to continuously serve the public and do more of what they can do as public servants and lingkod bayani. (Johaniah N. Yusoph/APB/PIA-10)
