MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur, March 7 (PIA) -- The 65th Infantry (STALWART) Battalion, 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, under the leadership of Lt. Col. Seigred J. Espina, with the cooperation and active participation of the personnel coming from Marawi City General Services Office (CGSO) headed by Engr. Alfemie Domaob, officer-in-charge for operations, conducted a clean-up drive in the city last March 3.
The activity successfully cleaned the mainstream areas of the city that include main roads and avenues, drainages system, plaza and nearby surroundings.
It benefited the residents along Brgy. Datu Saber, Amai Pakpak Avenue, Datu Alkader Street, Thobacan Street, Gomisa Avenue, and Brgy Banggolo.
Through this, the Stalwart troopers and the city government displayed their commitment in serving the community by promoting waste management system.
