MARAWI
CITY, Lanao del Sur, May 11 (PIA) --- The Ranao Muslim-Christian
Movement for Dialogue and Peace (RMCMDP) has appealed to legislators to
facilitate the passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).
In
a statement, the RMCMDP said the BBL best represent the desires and
sentiments of the Bangsamoro people for self-determination and
self-identity.
It will also pave the way for peace and development of all Mindanawans – Lumads, Muslims and Christians alike.
The
group said the BBL, based on the Comprehensive Agreement of the
Bangsamoro and its annexes, is the most immediate available opportunity
for putting an end to all the senseless violence in Mindanao and for
finally bringing about lasting peace.
The RMCMDP is a group of Muslim and Christian leaders in Northern and Central Mindanao. (APB/PIA-10)
