MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--The Provincial Development Council (PDC) here approved the priority programs, projects and activities incorporated in the Annual Investment Program of 2023.
The approval was made by the council members during the second semester PDC meeting last week presided by Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid Rakiin Adiong.
The proposed expenditures include P1.60 billion for economic development services, P879.98 million for institutional development sector, P575.33 million for social development sector, and P273.22 million for environment development services, among others.
The AIP provides a snapshot of the development investments of the province required to achieve the targeted socio-economic growth and development as stated in Vision 2040 of the province.
It takes into account the development priorities of the provincial government which complements the enhanced 12-point priority agenda of the Bangsamoro government. (APB/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
