MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--The Schools Division here is now in its full-blast preparation for the full opening of the in-person classes in all public and private schools during the school year 2022-2023.
Marawi City Schools Division Superintendent Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto said they have already been anticipating the return of the face-to-face classes years after the delivery of education was affected due to the eruption of the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 pandemic.
She shared that initially, they had identified seven schools that were qualified and permitted to hold the aforementioned mode of learning until their progressive expansion escalated the number into the sum of 13 schools.
“The City Schools Division of Marawi is gearing towards a 100% opening of all our schools… By school year 2022-2023, we shall open, Inshallah, 100% of all our schools both public and private schools,” said Alonto.
The superintendent further underscored they are currently all set as their team has been clustered into five groups which shall be looking and assuring the readiness of the nine districts of the city schools division.
“They are looking forward to the simulation of our schools to be prepared for the 100% opening,” said Alonto.
