MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur--National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 chief implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. urged the public to get inoculated as more Covid-19 vaccines become available.
“Magpabakuna na tayo. Marami na tayong bakuna pero maraming ayaw magpabakuna , takot sa karayum,” he said.
[Let's get vaccinated. We have many vaccines but many do not want to be vaccinated, because they are afraid of needles.]
Galvez said vaccination saves lives as proven by science. He calls the public to not be afraid.
The vaccine czar also shared that vaccination on children has already started. With this, he ensured that the safety of the children will be prioritized.
“Nagsimula na tayong magbakuna ng mga bata. Meron tayong 4 phases sa pagbabakuna ng mga bata hanggang sa maensure natin na ligtas ang mga bata,” he said.
[We have started vaccinating children. We have 4 phases in vaccinating children until we ensure that they are safe.]
