LANAO DEL SUR (PIA)--The Ministry of Health (MOH) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) turned over, on August 4, a Temporary Treatment Monitoring Facility (TTMF) in Barangay Daguan, municipality of Kapatagan, this province.
The turnover was led by MOH Minister Dr. Zul Qarneyn Abas and Municipal Vice Mayor Nazzrudin Maglangit, along with some MOH officials.
The TTMF serves as an additional temporary isolation facility for possible suspected, probable, and confirmed COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms.
“The Department of Health expects the number of cases of COVID-19 in the country to increase in the coming months," Abas said.
As such, the Health Minister encouraged residents of the province to protect themselves by getting vaccinated against COVID-19 stressing that 'public health is all about precaution.'
He also called on the public not to entertain misinformation about the government's vaccination program but rather to get information from government authorities. (APB/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
