Islamic City of Marawi (08 October) -- The Lanao del Sur police force is gaining grounds in fighting criminality in the entire province.
On Wednesday, October 6, they arrested Roy Abapo at barangay Western in Wao town around 4:50 pm.
Police Provincial Director Superintendent Cosanie Derogongan said Abapo was nabbed by elements of the Wao Municipal Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest with case number10-951W for Estafa issued by the Wao-Bumbaran 9th Municipal Circuit Trial Court.
Derogongan said Abapo was properly turned-over to the Wao Bureau of Jail Management and Penology on the same day.
Acting Presiding Judge Dante L. Villa of the Wao-Bumbaran 9th Municipal Circuit Trial Court was also informed of the arrest, he added.
