MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)—The office of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PhilHealth-BARMM) reminded its members to register for the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (KonSulTa) package.
Once registered, the member can avail of medical consultations, health screening and assessment, and selected diagnostic services and medicines.
In a virtual Kapihan with Media, PhilHealth-BARMM Accreditation Quality Assurance Section head Dr. Ruby Minalang said members must first register to an accredited KonSulTa provider of their choice either through self-registration, assisted registration from a third-party organization authorized by PhilHealth, or the Local Health Insurance Office near them.
Minalang said the diagnostics examination covered by the package are complete blood count with platelet count, urinalysis, fecalysis, sputum microscopy, fecal occult blood, pap smear, HbA1c, lipid profile, fasting blood sugar, oral glucose tolerance test, creatinine, electrocardiogram, and chest x-ray.
The medicines, on the other hand, include anti-microbial, fluid and electrolytes, anti-asthma, anti-pyretics, anti-diabetic, anti-dyslipidemia, anti-hypertensives, anti-thrombotics, and anti-histamine.
