MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur--Aiming to give comfort to people traversing from one place to another, the Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC) conveyed its strong desire of providing commuters quality service without short changes to its commuters here.
OTC Executive Director and OIC-Chairperson Eugene Pabualan shared that days back, passengers were seen to be uncomfortable in their ride but with the modernization program, a positive twist would be brought in for the convenience of the people.
“Here in the modernization program, klaro nato nga ang usa ka sakyanan ilabina kung aircon na siya, makatindog pa ang pasahero ug reliable in a sense nga kini sila brand new units ug environment friendly,” he said.
[Here in the modernization program, it is already clear that vehicles are now especially air-conditioned, passengers can already stand, and reliable in a sense that these are all brand new units and environment friendly.]
Pabualan added that they are likewise currently heading in the direction of cashless transactions because of the existence of tap cards for commuters’ payments.
As such, he underscored that this is not only changing the units but also giving attention to the system of transportation and doing business, proof of their effort to cause betterment in this aspect.
“We are moving day and night para madeliver nato ang mga serbisyo nga gikinahanglan sa atong katawhan [so that we can deliver our services that our citizens need],” he said. (CRG/PIA-Lanao del Sur)
