MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur--With the upcoming limited resumption of face-to-face learning for three schools here, City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto called on parents to help instill once again among learners the love of going to schools.
"Gusto kong anyayahan ang ating mga magulang na sana tulungan ninyo kaming ibalik ang saya at sigla ng ating mga mag-aaral na mawala ang takot at pangamba sa kanilang mga puso at isipan," she conveyed during an episode of Talakayan sa PIA Sunday, February 6.
[I would like to invite our parents to help us bring back the joy of our learners to appease their fear and anxiety in their hearts and minds.]
Alonto said the solicitude towards the reopening of face-to-face classes is expected and normal considering it happens again after two years of setting the education at home and not seeing personally their teachers and the school.
With this appeal, she guaranteed that the Department of Education through the Division office is doing its best to protect everyone involved in pursuing the awaited learning modality despite the persistent health crisis.
“We assure you that we are doing our best to protect primarily the health of your and our children, our teachers, and everybody in the school community para sa ikakatagumpay ng ating [for the success of our] face-to-face,” said Alonto.
The limited face-to-face classes here will start on Monday, February 14, with the participation of three pilot schools - Nanapun Elementary School, Mapandi Elementary School, and Angoyao Central Elementary School. (CRG/PIA-Lanao del Sur)
