MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Representatives of the religious sector here have conveyed their all-out support for the revitalized Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan (KASIMBAYANAN) program of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
"The launching of the revitalized KASIMBAYANAN is indeed our reciprocation of God's love in us by working together as partners toward the goal of a holistic transformation that involves the PNP and the community that exhorts and protects public safety and a God-centered society," said Msgr. Rev. Fr. Ramonito Torres.
Torres said the Prelature of St. Mary in Marawi strongly supports the revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN as this is an avenue for Muslims and Christians to partner with the PNP and have a deeper engagement for inter-religious dialogue. "This is an act that is worthy of the highest commendation," he added.
Aleem Ihsan Manaol of King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies (KFCIAAS) also affirmed the same support sharing that they would always remind the people during their Friday sermon that what everyone dreams of is to have peace toward development.
"Kami ay kaagapay ninyo, katuwang at katulong ninyo sa pagpapalaganap ng kapayapaan tungo sa kaunlaran," he said.

The KASIMBAYANAN was launched in Lanao del Sur on Monday, Sept. 26. It was highlighted with the pledge of commitment, a ceremonial signing of commitment, and the pinning of the KASIMBAYANAN pin buttons to police personnel, religious sector representatives, and key stakeholders present. Ministry of the Interior and Local Government Provincial Director Mcmillan Lucman also joined the provincial launching. (APB/PIA-10 Lanao del Sur)
