Saguiaran town parents say COVID-19 vax help protect kids

SAGUIARAN, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Parents of learners particularly enrolled in Bagoingud Elementary School here said the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 vaccines are safe and help give protection to their children, especially amid the advent of back-to-school.

Nairah Dalupang, a parent of two learners who are in their fourth and fifth grades respectively, stressed that she intended to get her kids vaccinated so that they might have immunity against the deadly virus.

[I believe that those vaccinated are safer than those who are unvaccinated. We should take care and get our children vaccinated to make the community protected.]

For her part, Asliah Macararay who has a 9-year-old learner shared that she ensured that her son received his complete doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to be safeguarded from this period of health crisis.

[I believe that vaccines are safe and can save our children from this pandemic. Get your children vaccinated to save them from COVID-19.]

Manokie Utara, on the other hand, conveyed that she saw the return of the in-person classes as a high time to have her children vaccinated.

Being a mother of minor children, she saw the vaccines as the key in this time of the pandemic.
